International Contract Law and Contract Drafting
Denmark, EU and International Commercial Practice — combining doctrinal analysis with practical contract drafting and ContractBot LegalTech workflows.
Course description
This course introduces international contract law through Danish, EU and global commercial practice. It focuses on how international commercial contracts are formed, drafted, interpreted, performed and enforced across legal systems.
Danish law and Danish business practice are used as the main domestic reference point, while comparative examples from civil law and common law systems appear throughout. Core instruments include CISG, UNIDROIT Principles, PECL, Incoterms 2020, ICC model contracts, FIDIC, GAFTA/FOSFA and the New York Convention.
